Art History Class Visits (Haunted) Edinburgh Manor

November 9, 2015 10:04 AM

Constructed in 1910 the Edinburgh Manor housed poor, incurably insane and elderly patients until it closed in 2010. Before 1910 the location was a county courthouse and a "poor house". You can read more about The Manor, including investigations into and evidence of Hauntings, at The Manor's website.

Metro Art History students toured The Manor: observing and taking photographs showing object or spatial focus. After uploading their photos, students played with the photos: cropped, added filters or effects, shadows or highlights. Some of the final submissions are shown in this Gallery. The creatively haunting bulletin board was located outside room 201.
