Metro North Rotary and Kids Against Hunger

January 13, 2017 02:05 PM

The efforts of Metro North Rotary and Metro High School resulted in 20,000 boxes of food ready for distribution. Metro North Rotary is a long term provider of food boxes for Kids Against Hunger (learn more here). This month Rotary requested the help of Metro and replaced their monthly meeting with the food box project. The Rotary arrived at about 11:00 with supplies, three assembly lines were formed, then the work began. Before each shift classes learned about the Kids Against Hunger organization and how the food boxes helped feed children locally and around the world.
